Revision Committee Report
BYLAW/CC&R REVISION COMMITTEE REPORT
The Revision Committee continues to meet regularly to update our
governing documents. The Board did approve the proposed revisions
to the Articles of Incorporation and to the Bylaws. The Committee
is now working on the CC&Rs and hopes to have that document ready to
present to the Board sometime in July-August. An open
meeting/meetings will be held this summer regarding the governing
documents (CC&Rs, Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation) to allow the
membership the opportunity to have input. Committee members can
also be contacted and input given to them to bring to the committee
meetings. Once accepted by the Board, the proposed changes in the
documents will then be reviewed by legal counsel and will then be
presented to the membership at the end of the year.
We sincerely hope
that you will take the time to read the existing CC&Rs (available on
www.lakealmanorwest.org) and communicate with the Committee as to what
changes you think would benefit the entire community.
